Learn new things with video tutorials at Shreve Memorial Library

While the libraries are slowly reopening, in-library programs are still on pause. More and more of our library programs are being held virtually through platforms such as Facebook and YouTube. But did you know that you can still learn new things and attend classes outside of the social media realm? Shreve Memorial Library’s e-branch offers several video tutorial resources that allow you to learn a wide variety of things and complete DIY projects at your own pace from the comfort of home. 

Just recently, the library added Creativebug, an online resource providing access to thousands of art and craft videos, to its e-branch. With Creativebug, Shreve Memorial Library cardholders have unlimited access to over 1000 video classes produced by renowned artists and creative experts. Users of all skill levels can enjoy classes in areas such as art and design, sewing, quilting, paper crafts, knitting, crochet, food and home, jewelry, holidays and parties, and even kid crafts. The best part is that the videos never expire, so you are able to start and stop projects when you want. Creativebug even allows you to save your favorite classes and download patterns, templates, and recipes.
